Next LVN Class Starts July 30, 2012

The open application period for the July 30, 2012, LVN class is May 3, through July 6, 2012, (or when the last assessment is full).  The General Information Package, Enrollment Form, and Questionnaire are available on this website, or they may be picked up in the main office at 1575 Cherry Avenue, Beaumont, California 92223 after April 18.

Beaumont Adult School Mission

Beaumont Adult School’s mission is to;

  • provide opportunities for students to complete basic and secondary academic instruction
  • provide opportunity for students to complete career technical  training in a variety of programs including vocational nursing

Students satisfactorily completing this program have met the requirements of the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians and are eligible to test for vocational nurse licensure.

Satisfactory progress in all parts of the program curriculum requires a minimum grade of 80%.

The LVN program requires 656 hours of theory plus 1073 hours of clinical instruction. Basic computer literacy is required as much of the curriculum is conducted online or by CBI (laptop computer is provided as part of each student’s program materials).
